Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki has provided an injury update ahead of the club’s DStv Premiership clash against AmaZulu on Saturday.
Speedy forward Ashley Du Preez is back after recovering from a bout of flu, but Ntseki still has some long-term injuries to contend with.
“We still have some long-term injuries, you saw Ranga [Chivaviro] leaving the field very early against TS Galaxy,” Ntseki told journalists on Thursday.
“So, I think he’s now going through rehab of some kind. In the next two weeks, he will be available for selection.
“The other player who started training is Keagan Dolly. He has been out for a very long time.”
Molefi Ntseki also confirmed that Edmilson Dove has started training with the team this week.
“[Edmilson] Dove started [training] with the team this week. Hopefully, when we come back from the FIFA Week, we’ll have a full squad, and all the players will be available.”
The FIFA week is scheduled for September 4-12, 2023, giving Amakhosi a two-week break after their MTN8 semi-final clash against Mamelodi Sundowns next weekend.

Before the Downs match, Kaizer Chiefs will visit Stellenbosch FC in Cape Town on Wednesday next week.
When they return from the break, they take on Royal AM at the FNB Stadium.
Ntseki will be hoping that his side can get back to winning ways against AmaZulu after suffering a disappointing 1-0 defeat to TS Galaxy on Sunday.
The match kicks off at 17h30 at the FNB Stadium.
