Former Kaizer Chiefs Keagan Buchanan has found a new home in the DStv Premiership ahead of the new season.
Buchanan left AmaZulu FC as his contract with the club expired at the end of the 2022/23 season.
The 32-year-old made 57 appearances during his two years at the club, scoring once and providing five assists.
Keagan Buchanan played a vital role as AmaZulu walked away with the silver medal after suffering defeat in the MTN8 final against Orlando Pirates last season.
He joins Thabo Qalinge, Lehlohonolo Majoro, and Dumisani Zuma, who have already left AmaZulu. The four players are part of the 11 departures at the club, which is seemingly undergoing a big transformation.
The KZN side also recently appointed a new coach Pablo Franco Martin, as the club is eager to better their 12th finish in the DStv Premiership log standings last season.

And with Buchanan parting ways with Usuthu, it did not take long for the ex-Amakhosi man to land a new club. He has penned a deal with newly-promoted Cape Town Spurs.
The Cape outfit made the announcement on Friday evening via their social media accounts. “Welcome home Keagz,” the club said in a brief post.
The midfielder will be expected to hit the ground running and help the newbies avoid relegation on their return to SA’s top-flight under coach Shaun Bartlett, who has reiterated the need for his troops to improve on all fronts.
“From myself as the head coach, not much time to have a holiday or a break because we had to start our preparation and getting a team together, looking at trialists for the upcoming season which we started on the third of July,” said Bartlett
“We kept the core of the team, which was important, but the players realized that once we achieved that promotion that we are on a different level.
“Everything needs to be better as individuals, as a club, as a team, and that is what we’ve been working on in the last couple of weeks.”
In addition, CT Spurs also signed Siyanda Msani and Luvuyo Phewa on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns Meanwhile, Boitumelo Radiopane returned to the club on loan from Pirates.
