TS Galaxy sent a message of support to Bernard Parker after the veteran striker suffered a horror injury in their Carling Knockout match against Mamelodi Sundowns on Thursday.

On the other, Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena defended Bongani Zungu, who was sent off for the tackle that caused the injury. Parker sustained a broken leg early in the second half of the match after a challenge from Zungu, who was shown a straight red card.

Parker was rushed to the hospital, where he was visited by Galaxy teammates including coach Sead Ramovic on Thursday. The club shared a picture on X, formerly Twitter.
