Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena’s agent Steve Kapeluschnik says he has received inquiries for his client.
Mokwena has done exceptionally well since taking over as head coach of Sundowns in October 2022.
He had previously shared the co-coaching responsibility with Manqoba Mngqithi, who was demoted to third in command.
The 36-year-old mentor guided Sundowns to the league title with seven games to go before the end of the season.

FATHER-SON RELATIONSHIP
“He has a special father-son relationship with the president, someone he is committed to,” he said.
Mamelodi Sundowns have not lost a league match since Mokwena took over. They succumbed to their first defeat against Stellenbosch FC in the quarterfinal of the Nedbank Cup recently.
It meant Sundowns could not defend the Cup title they won last year.
“My phone hasn’t stopped ringing. I’ve had inquiries from Egypt, Morocco, Tanzania, and even locally,” Kapeluschnik told SABC Sport.
However, Kapeluschnik says Mokwena has made it clear he wants to stay at Sundowns.
According to the agent, the former Orlando Pirates coach is convinced he can go on to achieve great things at his current club.
Previous reports were that there was interest in the gifted mentor from North Africa.
Sundowns and Mokwena are in talks over a new contract, and his agent says they will respect “their processes, and the club will guide us on the way forward”.
SUNDOWNS ONE FOOT IN THE SEMI-FINAL
The Brazilians are in the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League. Sandawana are one foot in after a convincing way win in Algeria. Downs won 4-1 in the first leg against CR Belouizdad and will host them in the reverse fixture on Saturday at Loftus Stadium.
Mokwena’s challenge is to guide the South African champions to CAF Champions League rivals.
Meanwhile, Mngqithi looks set to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June.
