Orlando Pirates are reportedly open to selling on loan striker Tshegofatso Mabasa as he is not part of their plans. The 27-year-old has spent the last two seasons on loan at Sekhukhune United and Moroka Swallows.

Mabasa struggled for form at Sekhukhune in the 2022/23 season, only notching two goals. However, he has started off well at Swallows, six goals in 11 DStv Premiership appearances.

Mabasa is contracted to Pirates until 2025, but the club is willing to let him go if a suitable offer is made. The Buccaneers are looking to raise funds to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Mabasa is a versatile striker who can play anywhere across the front line. He is also a good dribbler and passer, and he has a knack for scoring goals.

A number of clubs are reportedly interested in signing Mabasa, including a team from abroad. Pirates are reportedly holding out for a fee of around R5 million for the player.
