SuperSport United and Sekhukhune United have landed a fearsome pool draw as they progress to the CAF Confederations Cup group phase.
South African clubs drawn in Groups A and D, with SuperSport facing USM Alger and Future FC.
Al Hilal of Libya completed the quartet in the Group. Sekhukhune United were drawn along with heavyweights RS Berkane of Morocco in Group D.
While the former CAF Confederation Cup champions, RS Berkane headline the group, Congo-Brazzaville’s Diables Noirs and Stade Malien of Mali will also offer stiff competition.
It will be exciting to see how the two DStv Premiership teams fare in the CAF Confederations cup after passing the first hurdle.
SuperSport United eliminated Gaborone United while Sekhukhune United bundled FC Lupopo of the Democratic Republic of Congo out of the competition.
Brandon Truter and his men are competing in continental club competition for the first time, and their biggest test will be against RS Berkane, who beat Orlando Pirates in the 2021 final.
The group stage of this tournament begins on the 26th November, with the top two finishers in the four groups advancing to the quarterfinals scheduled for March.

And the final of this terms CAF Confederations Cup will be played over two legs on 10 May and 17 May.
