Siphesihle Maduna is set to leave AmaZulu and join Moroka Swallows, according to reports.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been with AmaZulu since 2020, but he is not part of new head coach Pablo Franco’s plans.

Maduna is a talented player who has been capped by South Africa at the U20 and U23 levels. He is known for his creativity and passing ability, and he could be a valuable asset to Swallows.

The transfer is still not finalised, but it is expected to be completed soon. Maduna is reportedly set to join Swallows on a season-long loan.

SIPHESIHLE MADUMA A SIGNIFICANT BOOST FOR SWALLOWS

Swallows are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2023/24 season. They finished eighth in the DStv Premiership last season, and they will be hoping to improve on that position this year.

The addition of Maduna would be a significant boost for Moroka Swallows. He is a young and talented player who has the potential to make a big impact in the PSL.

The transfer is also a blow to AmaZulu. Maduna was a key player for them in recent seasons, and his departure will leave a hole in their midfield.

However, AmaZulu are confident that they can replace Maduna with another quality player. They have already signed a number of new players in the transfer window, and they are expected to make more signings before the start of the season.

The transfer of Siphesihle Maduna to Swallows is a significant move in the South African football transfer market. It is a sign that Swallows are serious about improving their squad.

They already brought in former Mamelodi Sundowns midfield grafter Andile Jali, Ntsako Makhubela from Golden Arrows and Gabadinho Mhango.

Steve Komphela was brought in as head coach to work with fledgling Musa Nyatama to steer the club forward.
