Moroka Swallows have bolstered their squad ahead of the new season with the signing of a former AmaZulu and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Dumisani Zuma.

In the last few weeks, the Soweto side has been equipping new coach Steve Komphela with quality players as they look to compete with the big boys in the PSL.

Swallows, under their ‘rebirth’ process, are eager to revive the club which has had its fair share of struggles in recent years.  On Thursday, they announced the signing of Zuma.

Zuma is the third player reuniting with coach Steve Komphela as the duo worked together at Chiefs.

Swallows are yet to reveal the contract details of Zuma but reports state that the attacker has penned a two-year deal. The 28-year-old was a free agent after parting ways with AmaZulu, where he spent a season.

He also had a stint at Bloemfontein Celtic, where he made a name for himself in SA’s top-flight. In addition, Zuma has represented South Africa at junior level: Under-20 and U-23. He has a handful of caps for Bafana Bafana.
