Moroka Swallows have partnered with a South African footwear brand as part of their “rebirth” process ahead of the new PSL.
The Dube Birds are eager to fly back to their former glory days as they have been busy in the transfer market.
Swallows started the “rebirth” by naming the club Moroka Swallows, awakening the sleeping giants after an eight-year disappearance.
The Soweto side was relegated from the Premiership back in the 2014/2015 and the club had seemingly dipped into non-existence.
However now under the leadership of Panyaza Lesufi and chairman David Mogashoa, the club appear revived.

The Birds took to social media on Tuesday to announce Drip, a local brand as their new technical sponsor.
The news comes after Swallows made a few changes to the coaching staff and the squad.
Swallows brought in Steve Komphela, formerly with Mamelodi Sundowns as new head coach. Komphela took over from Musa Nyatama, who took charge of the club on an interim basis midway last season after the resignation of Ernst Middendorp.
In addition, Swallows signed the experienced Andile Jali, Ghanaian midfielder Victor Bakaalso and Lantshane Phalane to mention a few.
SWALLOWS PARTNERS WITH DRIP
“The relationship between DRIP and Moroka Swallows in this era, is quite a significant one,” the club said in a statement.
“DRIP is a lifestyle brand that is now confidently spreading its wings and tapping into the world of sports, whereas Swallows is going back to its roots by adopting its original name “Moroka Swallows” and in the process acquiring a new coach and new team players.
“Both brands are going through a “rebirth” and as a result, this partnership was a no brainer. It is the merging of 2 brands and the beginning of a great story for both Local Football and Sportswear Brands. Welcome to REBIRTH.”
Drip is a local brand founded in 2003 by Lekau Sehoana. The brand has grown immensely in the country and has stores around the country.
