Orlando Pirates are reportedly interested in signing Sekhukhune United forward Elias Mokwana in the January transfer window.
Pirates’ scouts have reportedly been tracking Mokwana’s progress and have been impressed with his performances.
Mokwana, 24, has scored two goals and has one assist in 10 DStv Premiership matches this season. He is a versatile forward who can play as a striker or on the wing. He is also a strong dribbler and has a good eye for goal.

“The likelihood of Sekhukhune United doing business with Pirates is next to none. Relations between the two clubs are not so good after what happened in the Nedbank Cup final last year,” the source said.
Mokwana is a young and promising player with a lot of potential. He is a physical and powerful forward who is also skilful and technically gifted. He would be a good fit for Pirates and would add a lot to their attack.
Mokwana joined the club at the start of last season from Platinum City. He has been a vital cog since then and is highly valued by the club.
