Despite his demotion from the Kaizer Chiefs head coach position, Arthur Zwane remains committed to the club and is determined to help it succeed.

Arthur Zwane, who was in charge of the Amakhosi last season, was relieved of his duties following a string of poor results.

He was deployed as an assistant coach to Molefi Ntseki at the start of the 2023/24 season.

But Ntseki was shown the exit door in October with Zwane demoted to Amakhosi’s development structures, where he started as a club coach. Cavin Johnson has since taken over the coaching reigns at the Soweto giants on an interim basis.

The Kaizer Chiefs legend, Zwane, has stated that he accepted the decision and is still eager to contribute to the team in any way possible.

“This is a gift no one can take away from you, and most of us will want to associate ourselves with the success of this club because we know where this team comes from and where it is going.

Zwane added: “We will keep pushing and giving our best as long as we are part of the organisation and make sure we turn things around and improve things.

“Whether we are starting from the grassroots level or the development to the senior team, one way or other, things will change for the better.”
