Sekhukhune United coach Brandon Truter is reportedly set to be axed by the club following a poor start to the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season.
The Limpopo side fell 2-0 to TS Galaxy on Sunday, just a week after succumbing to another defeat at the hands of AmaZulu.
Truter joined Sekhukhune United in February 2023, but the club has struggled to perform consistently under his guidance. Sekhukhune United are currently 11th in the DStv Premiership standings, with just 11 points from 10 matches.
According to reports, Sekhukhune United management are unhappy with the club’s current position on the league table and
have decided to axe Truter in order to bring in a new coach who can help the club improve its results.
Truter’s axing is likely to come as a surprise to many, as he has guided the club to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup. However, Sekhukhune United are under pressure to improve their results, and management have decided to make a change in the hope of turning things around.
It is not yet clear who Sekhukhune United will appoint as their new coach. However, it is believed that the club are
looking for a coach with experience in the DStv Premiership.
