Orlando Pirates are winless their last three DStv Premiership matches, which has seen them drop down the table.
This has led to some fans booing players after games as Pirates continue to drop points.
In their last three league games, they drew twice and lost once, with many, including club legend Benedict Tso Vilakazi, who has questioned Bucs players’ commitment in the league.
The Soweto giants have defended their MTN8 crown and are in the quarter-finals of the Carling Knockout Cup.
PIRATES STAR MASWANGANYI CALLS FOR UNITY TO END WINLESS STREAK
In their most recent result, Pirates were held to a 1-1 draw at Orlando Stadium in Soweto by Polokwane City.
“It’s a disappointing result, especially since we haven’t won in the league. It’s been two draws; it’s disappointing, especially playing at home,” said Maswanganyi.
“We wanted to win the game, but we ended up drawing the game. We should have scored more goals. We created a lot of chances, but we couldn’t score more than two. We only scored one.”

Pirates find themselves in an unfamiliar position at the bottom of the league table after a slow start to the season. They have only accumulated nine points from seven matches, with two wins, three draws, and two defeats.
“We have to start winning games. We are capable of winning games,” added Maswanganyi, who has been a marvel to watch since joining Pirates at the beginning of the season from SuperSport United.
“We have dropped [our level], and we not winning. We want to win as soon as possible. The next game has to be a win no matter what, whether we home or away.”
Orlando Pirates will look to return to winning ways when they travel to the Western Cape to face struggling Cape Town Spurs on Wednesday.
