Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly interested in signing Kamohelo Mokotjo from Sekhukhune United.

The experienced midfielder has a year left on his contract after signing a two-year deal.

Since joining the club, Mokotjo has been one of Sekhukhune’s most consistent performers. He has made over 26 appearances for the club and helped them reach the CAF Confederation Cup group stages.

In his first season with the club, he was part of the team that defied the odds by reaching the Nedbank Cup final. They lost 2-1 to Orlando Pirates

The 31-year-old is easily one of South Africa’s best central defensive midfielders. He is known for his passing ability, work ethic, and leadership qualities.

Sundowns are looking to strengthen their squad as they participate in several competitions. Mokotjo would bring a different dimension to Rulani Mokwena’s side.

The addition of Mokotjo would give Sundowns even more depth in midfield. He would also add experience and leadership to the team, having played in the United States of America, England and the Netherlands before.

It is reported that Mamelodi Sundowns have already contacted Mokotjo’s representatives and are confident of signing him.
