Medhi Ghayedi grabbed Al-Ittihad Kalba’s consolation goal as the battling nine men were left biting dust.

This means Mosimane’s side has now picked registered three victories in their five outings so far this season.

However Pitso Mosimane will not let his guard down, hoping his men maintain their momentum as the league slowly heats up.

Al Wahda are yet to win the league title since the 2009/10 season, which was the fourth in the history of the club.

And the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach is beset with the task of winning the league title with the UAE Pro League.

After winning this one, Pitso Mosimane has the oppurtunity to lead Al Wahda on their way back on track.

In addition, he will hope to revenge in the second leg of the United Arab Emirates League Cup quarter-final against Al Jazira.

Without doubt, the revered gaffer Pitso Mosimane knows he will need to start producing good results if he wants to challenge for honours this season.

Their next league assignment is an away fixture away to Ajman on 4 November.
