Mamelodi Sundowns have been dealt a major blow with the news that star striker Peter Shalulile has suffered a hamstring injury.
The Namibian international is said to have picked up the injury recently during a training session.
Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena will have to do without the services of the Brave Warriors captain.
According to club sources, Shalulile will be out for a few weeks, but he is hopeful that the striker will be back in action soon.
“Peter is out a couple more weeks,” a source said. “He pulled his hamstring, but the damage is not too extensive. We are hopeful that he will be back soon.”
