“A very tough game. Excluding travelling, excluding the fact that we played on an astroturf and the heat as well,” said Truter. “At times, it was unbearable, but it was all about character.
“Everybody that was called upon, each player did very well. They knew what was required here, we didn’t risk the fact that we had a two-goal lead. t was more about the character, the attitude, the will to win, and the effort the boys put in.
“So as much as I give credit to the boys, we also give credit to God. It’s not an easy place to come to, so the results are about the boys, and we move on to the next round.”
