Mamelodi Sundowns left-back Divine Lunga finds himself in a dilemma with the season already six games in.
DStv Premiership side Golden Arrows are open to having him on board for a second season running.
The Zimbabwean spent the 2022/2023 campaign on loan to Arrows and has since returned to Chloorkop.
He enjoyed a lot of game time for Arrows in the 2022/2023 campaign, making 28 appearances in the league.
Abafana Bes’thende have confirmed that they would like to have the player back in the 2023/2024 season, but that doesn’t depend on them.
The 28-year-old has not featured for Sundowns this season, and that’s because he is still waiting for his documents.
Having joined Sundowns in July 2021 from Arrows, Lunga struggled for game time at the DStv Premiership defending champions.
He made only 12 appearances in the 2021/22 campaign. Nine of those came in the DStv Premiership, and he featured two times in the Nedbank Cup and once in the MTN8 Cup.
Before linking up with Sundowns in 2021, he made 26 league appearances at Arrows.
The Bulawayo-born player never kicked a ball for the Tshwane giants in the CAF Champions League.

Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena has seemingly decided to keep the former Chicken Inn defender for the 2023/2024 campaign. He was part of Sundowns Netherlands pre-season camp. It remains to be seen if the Zimbabwe Warriors left-back will play once his documents are approved.
