Former Moroka Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs defender has been met with praise after completing his move to Swedish club AFC Eskilstuna.
Sasman recently penned a one-and-a-half-year deal with Eskilstuna following his departure from Moroka Swallows at the end of last season.
The 27-year-old defender’s new club competes in the Superettan, the second-tier league in Sweden.
At Swallows, Sasman spent two years as a regular starter. He made 51 appearances for the Soweto side, with three goals to his name.
He also had a stint at Ajax Cape Town and Kaizer Chiefs, where he made a name for himself in the DStv Premiership.
At a professional level, Sasman has featured in over 99 matches, including in the CAF Champions League, playing at left-back and centre-back.

In a statement, AFC Eskilstuna said: “Sasman is known for its resilience and reach in the airspace. A modern defender with a powerful presence in the back line.
“Sasman is 27 years old, left-footed, and the contract with AFC Eskilstuna is for 1.5 years. There was a lot of interest in him, and we are very happy that he has chosen to play football in Eskilstuna.”
Mikael Larsson, who is the CEO of AFC Eskilstuna) added that “Yagan Sasman is good at reading the game.
“He has great timing in his tackles and is good in the air. He is an experienced player with a lot of playing time at a high level.”
