Lehlohonolo Seema, the head coach of Polokwane City, is unfazed by Mamelodi Sundowns’ dominance, believing his team has nothing to lose.
Rise and Shine will host Sundowns at the new Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane in a DStv Premiership on Wednesday, with kick-off set for 17:00.
Sundowns have won all of their matches in the DStv Premiership this season and are expected to continue their winning streak against Polokwane City, who are making their return to the top flight.
However, Seema is aware of the challenge that Sundowns pose, yet he remains unfazed.
The Tshwane giants are at the summit of the log with five victories in five games.
Seema Unfazed by Sundowns’ Dominance
“I’m not worried. Let them [PLK City players] go and enjoy the game,” said Seema ahead of the encounter.
“Mamelodi Sundowns is beating everyone; why should I be worried? We just go there, and focus on ourselves.
“We fix what we couldn’t fix against Golden Arrows, and we continue onto the next one.”
Plk City, the 202/23 Motsepe Foundation Championship winners, have made an impressive start to the new season in the DStv Premiership. They have won two of their four league games and currently occupy fourth place on the log standings.

Despite the lack of experience of many of his players, Lehlohonolo Seema is happy with the fight they have shown so far this season.
“It’s not a problem [that they have unknown players without experience]; the good thing is that these players are working hard, and they are hungry. You can see they want to play,” added the ex-Chippa United coach.
“The fight they are putting in the field of play is good. It is not that because we lost against Arrows, we don’t have a big name in our team. It is not like that; we will keep on fighting. There are a lot of positives from our last game.
