Molefi Ntseki has not had the best start as the new head coach of Kaizer Chiefs, but he has a clear mission: to end the club’s eight-season trophy drought.
Ntseki is a former Bafana Bafana coach, and he has also had success at junior level, guiding the U17s to the 2015 World Cup. He has limited club coaching experience but is confident he can make a difference at Chiefs.
“I know what it takes to win trophies,” Ntseki said. “I have the experience and the knowledge, and I am confident I can get the job done at Chiefs.”
Molefi Ntseki’s first task will be to get the Chiefs fans back onside. The club has been struggling in recent years, and the fans have become disillusioned. Ntseki knows he needs to win trophies to win back the fans’ support.
“I know that the fans are disappointed,” Ntseki said. “But I am here to change that. I am here to win trophies and to make the fans happy.”
Ntseki has a strong team at his disposal, including the likes of Edson Castillo, Keagan Dolly, and Given Msimango. He also has the backing of the Chiefs management, who are confident that he is the right man to lead the club back to success.
