Royal AM coach John Maduka has given his verdict on former Orlando Pirates midfielder Nkanyiso Zungu.
Despite many, including the legendary Jomo Sono tipping Zungu for success at Pirates, the talented midfielder was booted out of the club last season due to ill-discipline.
This comes after he was loaned out at Richards Bay FC last campaign, where he failed to make an impression. He was also released by the KZN side following reports of mischievousness.
At most of the clubs Nkanyiso Zungu has played for, he has been deemed a bad boy for his off-field behaviour, including at Jomo Cosmos, Stellenbosch and AmaZulu.
And despite his bad track record, the Thwihli Thwahla coach Maduka has decided to give Zungu a second chance to revive his career in the DStv Premiership.
Maduka stated that Zungu showed signs of a changed man as he featured for Royal AM in the KZN Premier’s Cup at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium this past weekend.
