SuperSport United have completed the signing of Terrence Dzvukamanja from Orlando Pirates, reuniting the striker with his former coach Gavin Hunt.
Dzvukamanja joins Matsatsantsa after a difficult season at Orlando Pirates, where he struggled for game time in the first half of the season.
The Zimbabwe international picked himself up in the second half of the season, scoring the crucial Nedbank Cup final.
KEY PLAYER FOR GAVIN HUNT
The 28-year-old Zimbabwean international was a key player for Hunt at Bidvest Wits, scoring 20 goals in the 2018/19 season, and the pair are now looking to recreate that success at SuperSport United.
Dzvukamanja’s arrival is a major boost for SuperSport United, who are looking to challenge for the Premier Soccer League title this season. They are also playing in the CAF Confederation Cup hence the need to add more arsenal.
He joins his fellow Zimbabweans Onisimor Bhasera, George Chigova, Ronald Pfumbidzai and new recruit Washington Arubi.
SuperSport United’s approach for the player’s services surprised the Club, as the Club had already made plans to include the player in their CAF Champions League squad.
