There is no love lost as legendary coach Pitso Mosimane leaves out the Al Ahli executive in his glowing tribute to the players, technical team, staff and more prominently, the clubs’ supporters.

Pitso Mosimane quit this week after he and his staff got Al Ahli promoted from the First Division to the Saudi Arabia top flight Pro League in the just ended season despite going four months without being paid.

In his moving tribute to his eight months stay at the Saudi club, Mosimane expresses his gratitude to those who bought into his successful vision.

“We would never have achieved this feat without the players who continuously played their hearts out, the technical team and staff who supported me and the players throughout, and finally, thank you to the undying support from the Al Ahli supporters. Your presence on the stands at home and away games was the best motivator. I wish the team success in its future endeavours,” reads Mosimane’s statement.
