Wydad Athletic Club’s captain Yahya Jabrane is confident that his team can overturn a 2-1 deficit against Al Ahly in the second leg of the CAF Champions League final on Sunday.
Wydad will host the return leg in Casablanca, and Jabrane believes that the home support will be a key factor.
“We are confident that we can overturn the deficit and win the title,” Jabrane said in an interview with CAF TV. “We have the support of our fans, and we know that they will be behind us every step of the way.”
Jabrane also praised the performance of his team in the first leg, despite the defeat. He said that they were unlucky not to take more from the game, and that they will be looking to improve on their performance in the second leg.

“We played well in the first leg, but we were unlucky not to get a better result,” Jabrane said. “We created a lot of chances, but we didn’t take them. In the second leg, we need to be more clinical in front of goal.”
