Kaizer Chiefs’ utility man, Dillan Solomons, has made an utmost promise to the club’s disgruntled fans.

Solomons was speaking ahead of Amakhosi’s final DStv Premiership match of the season this weekend.

Amakhosi take on Cape Town City as they look to bounce back to winning ways. The clash will take place at FNB Stadium on Saturday, with kickoff scheduled for 15:00.

Amakhosi will be desperate to finish what has been another disappointing campaign on somewhat of a high against the Citizens.

ANOTHER SEASON TO FORGET FOR CHIEFS

Chiefs have endured another season to forget where they failed to end the club’s troubling trophy drought.

The Soweto giants have also missed out on qualification for the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup next season.

And the club’s demanding supporters have made their frustrations clear with some unsavoury scenes at Royal Bafokeng Stadium last week.

Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane received the worst part of the attack as an object from the angry supporters struck him.

This was after their 1-0 defeat at the hands of SuperSport United.

But Chiefs defender Dillan Solomons, who admits it hasn’t been their best season, has promised the supporters some joy this weekend.

“For me, the message to the supporters is for them just to keep supporting us. They have been there for us since day one, ever since I came here,” said Solomons.

“They have been very supportive of me and the club, and I know they love the club so much.

SOLOMONS’ PROMISE TO CHIEFS SUPPORTERS

“Hopefully, next season, we will give them something to smile about. We will give them something to smile about this weekend as well.

“It’s just about continuous support and keeps coming out in numbers to support us at the stadium.”

Chiefs lost the corresponding fixture 2-0 away from home and will be looking to avenge that defeat.

The Glamour Boys also hope to snap a three-match losing run in all competitions.
