Arthur Zwane has confirmed some bad news for a Kaizer Chiefs star midfielder with just six games before the end of the season.
Chiefs take on Marumo Gallants on Saturday [20h00], but Zwane has confirmed that one of his star players is ruled out until the end of the season.
Chiefs playmaker Nkosingiphile “Mshini” Ngcobo will not be involved as the club winds a largely underwhelming season. The 23-year-old is battling with a thigh muscle injury.
“Mshini is out for this season,” Zwane confirmed.
But the good news for Zwane is that Khama Billiat and Cole Alexander have started light training.
“Khama has just started jogging, and he is far from returning, but we don’t doubt our biokineticist. He is working on them before they return to us — the coaches — and we will take it from there.

“Eric Mathoho just got back, and he is fighting for fitness, Cole is the one who looks closer to the team.”
Amakhosi have gone six matches unbeaten in all competitions for the first time this season.
They have enjoyed four successive wins over Orlando Pirates, Richards Bay, Maritzburg United and Stellenbosch FC in the DStv Premiership.
The impressive run has put them in good stead to book a spot in next season’s CAF Champions League.
The PSL runner-up, along with champions Mamelodi Sundowns, will play in the continental club tournament.
Amakhosi are in fourth place, level on 40 points with second-placed Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United.
Zwane blamed their inconsistency on the number of injuries they had to deal with this season. Chiefs have been forced to make too many changes due to injuries to key players.
The former Kaizer Chiefs winger, Zwane, is in his first season as head coach and would be content finishing as runner-up.
However, Pirates and SuperSport are also eager to achieve the same feat.
